Beth & Rip Go On The Attack In New First Look At Dutton Ranch Season 1’s Second Half
Dutton Ranch episode 4 ended with Beth and Rip taking revenge on the man who sold them a bull infected with foot-and-mouth disease, which forced them to cull their prized black angus cattle herd. With no means to make a living, the Dutton-Wheelers also have nothing more to lose and have a plan to get back what they lost, and then some, in Dutton Ranch season 1’s next five episodes.
The official Dutton Ranch and Paramount+ Instagram accounts shared a new sizzle reel with eye-popping glimpses at what the rest of season 1 will bring. With the caption, “Everything you thought you knew about Rio Paloma is about to change,” this first look at Dutton Ranch‘s back half hints at the major twist that Natalie Alyn Lind teased to ScreenRant. The first jaw-dropping aspect of Dutton Ranch’s new footage is Rip setting foot in the 10-Petals’ bunkhouse and giving orders, revealing that Wheeler becomes the new foreman. Meanwhile, Beth promises, “Give me a week, I’ll know everything there is to know about Beulah Jackson.” Beth and Rip look like they’re infiltrating the 10-Petals, which is “crooked from top to bottom.”
Dutton Ranch has been hailed for its emphasis on character over chaos, but this is still a Yellowstone story, meaning violence is guaranteed. Plenty of action is coming, and even kindly veterinarian Everett McKinney (Ed Harris) comes armed with a shotgun, lamenting that he thought he’d seen his “last firefight.”

Everyone in Dutton Ranch will be part of the fight to come, as Beth prepares Carter (Finn Little) to get “ready for the hard part.” Hired gunmen are seen coming towards the Jacksons’ family home, and the violence gets close enough to Oreana Jackson (Natalie Alyn Lind) to make her scream.
However, it also seems that Beulah Jackson and Beth Dutton find themselves in cahoots, as they fly on a private jet together. Whether a temporary alliance or not, perhaps Beth and Beulah join forces to oppose Dutton Ranch‘s mystery villain, Mariano Reyes (Raoul Max Trujillo).
