Jinger Duggar’s Nursery for Baby No. 3 Leaves Fans Concerned About the Same Safety Hazard

The countdown is on for Jinger Duggar to welcome baby No. 3 with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo—and recently, the former Counting On star revealed the nursery for their son.

On Feb. 13, the sixth-born child of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar uploaded a video of the room dedicated to their baby boy to her YouTube channel.

In the vlog, Jinger explained she was transforming a guest room in their home into a space dedicated to their son.

“Some stuff I already have that I’m just going to throw into the room to put this nursery together,” she told viewers. “So, I’m really excited. It’s going to be so different having a little boy.”

The only furniture in the room was a dark green crib, a rocking chair, a changing table gifted to them for their first child and a small stand with a lamp.

In the comments, many YouTuber users praised Jinger for how uncluttered and clean the nursery turned out.

One person wrote, “I love how simplistic they kept the nursery. Just basic necessities, some practical decor and no frufru.”

Another shared, “Simple but classic nursery, love it!” while someone else echoed, “Love the crib color. Love the simplicity and not overly cluttered you made the space.”

However, other fans had a safety concern about the setup—specifically, the placement of the crib.

“One thing l was a little concerned with is the crib being by the window instead of where it was for two reasons,” one critic wrote. “If there was an earthquake, there are times that windows will bust and you don’t want that glass getting in the crib…The second thing is as good as the windows are sometimes when it’s cold, the breeze can come in and it would be right next to the crib.”

A different YouTube user agreed, commenting, “I much prefer the crib and changing table where you originally had them. Always put the crib on an interior wall when possible.”

Meanwhile, a third person shared, “I have always heard that you should never put a child’s bed on an outside wall and near any windows. They can get draft. And in LA glass can shatter during an earthquake.”

Jinger’s due date with her third child is March 23; she and Jeremy already share two daughters, Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4.

Although they have a name picked out for their son, Jinger and Jeremy said they are waiting to announce his moniker until after he’s born.
