Joy-Anna Duggar‘s oldest son, Gideon, is growing up fast—and fans can’t get over how big the little boy is getting.
The former Counting On star took to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 24, to celebrate Gideon’s 7th birthday with a series of sweet pics.
In two of the images, Duggar, 27, and Gideon posed for the camera with big smiles, while another photo showed Gideon and his dad, Austin Forsyth, grinning side-by-side. In addition to Gideon, Duggar and Forsyth share two other children: Evelyn, 4, and Gunner, who turns 2 in May.
“Happy 7th Birthday, Gideon!” Duggar captioned her post.
Duggar’s followers were quick to send Gideon their best wishes in the comments.
“He just the cutest!😍 Happy Birthday Gideon!” wrote one person.
“Happy birthday 🎊🎉🎂 what a beautiful smile 😃,” gushed a second fan.
“7!?! Since when? Happy birthday buddy,” another Instagram user chimed in.
On the Oct. 16 episode of The Unplanned Podcast, the Duggar and Forsyth opened up about their dating experience—with Forsyth revealing that Duggar’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, regularly received offers from “hundreds of guys” who wanted to date his daughters.
“I had my keepsake boxes. I had letters in there from when I was like 16-17,” Duggar said, explaining that “random” men or “guys from jail” would send her love missives. “My mom obviously would read them first, because she’s like, ‘This is weird,’ but then we all laugh about it,” she recalled.
According to Forsyth, men approached Jim Bob “literally everywhere we went.”
Duggar and Forsyth tied the knot in May 2017 after 15 years of friendship.
In February 2017, Duggar told People that she and Forsyth had “gotten to experience so much already in our relationship,” such as “lots of church ministries, road trips, hiking, hunting and remodeling houses together.”
“It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” she said.
