Fans Are Concerned for Justin Duggar & Wife Claire After More Than a Year of Social Media Silence
Many members of the Duggar family have been more quiet than usual on social media in the years following Josh Duggar’s conviction, but some fans are convinced this couple’s silence means something more. Now that it’s been well over a year since Justin Duggar and his wife, Claire, last shared a post on Instagram, people are concerned that something bad is going on behind the scenes.
Justin and Claire have been very quiet.
The last post either of them shared on social media was the same photo they both posted on Christmas in 2023, posing with the miniature horses they keep on their property in Texas.
So far, neither of them have shared anything themselves, so what these two are up to these days is anybody’s guess. And now, some critics on Reddit believe that their silence is a sign of trouble, especially because they both were posting pretty regularly early on in their marriage.
Some people think this means there’s ‘trouble in paradise.’
After getting married when Justin was 18 and Claire was just a day away from turning 20, many fans wondered if their union has already failed.
“They honestly didn’t have much chemistry anyway and I think Justin was just like ‘well, here’s a better family than my own’ and ran with it,” one person wrote.
Others are convinced they’re dealing with tough stuff.
Members of the Duggar family typically don’t wait very long to have kids after getting married, and Justin and Claire’s wedding was four years ago, leading some of the posters to think they’re dealing with infertility and want to do so privately.
“It’s really surprising Justin and Claire haven’t had at least one kid yet. I’m sure they’re being pressured,” one person wrote. “In a family of 19 kids, someone is bound to have fertility issues.”
Then again, it’s totally possible that because they did get married so young, they’re taking this time to enjoy their marriage and are planning to have kids later – or maybe even not at all.
They have appeared in other people’s posts every now and then.
Justin and Claire both seemed to be at Jana’s wedding back in August, and it wasn’t all that long ago that Jeremy and Jinger mentioned them and their miniature horses on an episode of their podcast. Maybe they’re just taking this opportunity to live a more private life than growing up on reality TV allowed Justin in the past?
Whatever the reason for their silence, hopefully, they’re doing well.
