1000-Lb Sisters fans are getting increasingly irritated with Amy Slaton, and this week, they roasted her about her new boyfriend. Her brother, Chris Combs, didn’t seem impressed with her either. Read on for more details.
Fans Are Fed Up With Tammy’s Sister
In a recent episode of the TLC show, Chris Combs seemed amazed that his half sister even considered moving in with her new boyfriend. She’d only dated him for less than two months, and already, she was thinking of a full-time relationship. Chris responded to the news by saying:
You’re going to try to move in
with him and you ain’t even been with him for six weeks. You’ve lost your damn mind!
It came when Amy Slaton went on a date with Brian Lovvorn, and she acted like a giddy schoolgirl. She said, “I’m excited to see Brian,” adding, “I don’t want to be apart from him for like 5 minutes.”
It didn’t help Amy with fans when she described her first date with the man. She said, “I’ve been dating Brian for a month now, and he thinks we’ve been dating for 3 years because of how long our dates usually last. Our first date lasted like 22 hours. And so in his head, that’s like three dates in one. Yeah, he’s got all this mathification up in his head.”
Fans Roast The Mom Of Two
“Mathification” expert or not, that didn’t appease TLC fans who follow Amy on social media and on the show. They are more interested in her two children, Gage and Glenn. So, an angry fan said in the comments on YouTube, “All this talk about your boyfriend, look after your bloody kids first.”
Others agreed, and a like-minded individual wrote, “This is such a horrible idea.” Another person wondered where her kids were. Then, this opinion arrived: “Amy would be stupid if she moved in with this guy. She barely knows him. Bringing her very young children around some guy she just met is very irresponsible.”
A final shot arrived when a critic said, “Also, this guy Amy’s with… he is BAD news. He’s basically Jerry but worse.”
The Boyfriend Is Bad News?
Recently, Amy Slaton introduced her new boyfriend to fans on social media. However, she’s been hooked up with him since at least September last year. Fans first heard about him when she was bitten by a camel at a zoo. Next thing, she and Brian were arrested and charged with possessing Schedule I and IV drugs, as well as child endangerment. They were taken to the Crockett County jail but were released on a $10,000 bond.
Later, the couple appeared in court, and the outcome ended up with Amy Slaton needing to attend a drug and alcohol program, and she had to pay a $500 fine. Chris Combs took the kids, but later the endangerment charges were dropped.
