1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton revealed she’s dating someone new during season 7, and fans got to know her new girlfriend, Andrea, on the TLC show. In light of her reality TV debut, fans are likely wondering who Andrea is and what the couple has shared about their relationship.
Who Is Tammy Slaton’s Girlfriend Andrea?
Fans first got to know Andrea when her and Tammy’s first official date was documented on season 7 of 1000-Lb. Sisters. The women went bowling, though they both admitted that neither of them had played the sport since they were in school.
During the date, Andrea did admit that she’s a competitive person. “I’m so competitive, I gotta beat you. I have to beat you,” Andrea said before they started bowling. After Tammy jokingly declared that “it’s on,” Andrea playfully shoved her.
Despite being in a relationship with the reality star, Andrea hasn’t shared many details about her professional or home life. However, fans can expect to learn more about her as season 7 continues.
How Did Tammy Slaton Meet Andrea?
Andrea revealed that she and Tammy met on a dating app.
“I had just got on there. I wasn’t on there very long and I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking,” she explained in a confessional. “And it’s been, like, everyday since.”
In her own confessional, Tammy said that Andrea is “beautiful” and that she likes “everything about her.”
“We have been getting very close,” Tammy continued before making a joke about where they are in their relationship. “I have not actually farted in front of her yet. But at night, I’m asleep. I can’t control it.”
She added, “I do have feelings for Andrea. But right now we’re just taking things slow, day by day.”
Tammy Slaton Has Been Open About Her S-xuality
After Tammy’s late husband, Caleb Willingham, died in June 2023, she opened up about her s-xuality in a January 2024 TikTok video when one fan asked if she was a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“I’m a supporter of everybody,” the TV personality said at the time. “Well, I was saying I was pans-xual but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m, like, a lesbian. Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary [or] whatever. I’m just a lover.”
Meanwhile, she revealed she was dating a woman during the season 7 premiere.
“There’s something I haven’t told my family. Amy [Slaton]‘s not the only one that’s been seeing somebody new. So have I,” she said in the episode, which premiered on April 15, 2025. “I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it’s going pretty well.”
As Tammy snuck out of the house and got into her car, her brother, Chris Combs, was left wondering where she went.
“I think I want to approach this relationship different than I have in the past, so I haven’t told my family because my family’s gonna have something to say about it,” Tammy continued. “You know, I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has assholes because they be farting so much.”
