Last December, Lydia and Trace announced that they’re having a rainbow baby. The Bringing Up Bates star shared the news through a YouTube vlog. They were still on their Hawaii trip when they learned about the exciting news. According to the married couple, they’re so excited and happy to get blessed with a rainbow baby by the end of the year. Members of the Bates family also celebrated Trace and Lydia’s pregnancy announcement. It took months before the two revealed that they’re having a baby girl, and they’re now ready to share the name they came up with.
Trace & Lydia Announce Name Of Their Second Baby
Trace and Lydia Bates recently uploaded a new vlog where they reveal the name of their upcoming baby girl. The vlog started off with Lydia sharing updates about her pregnancy, saying that she had to do regular exercise to fix the baby’s placement correctly. She’s also expected to give birth in two weeks, and she’s hopeful that everything will go well. Moments later, the Bringing Up Bates star revealed that she and Trace have already agreed about their baby girl’s name.
The married couple revealed that their daughter will be named Kaia Rae. According to Lydia, she already had the name on her mind way back when she was still pregnant with Ryker. Kaia’s name also means “pure.” Meanwhile, some fans commended Trace and Lydia’s name choice for their upcoming daughter.

Lydia also took to IG to share clips and pictures with her walking partner. The Bringing Up Bates star revealed that she needs to get more physical before her delivery. Fortunately, she has Ryker to cheer her up and do morning walks with her.
Lydia Bates added, “Still wobbling along 🤰🏼🤣” Lydia added that she was supposed to be in labor two days ago, but she’s still walking outdoors with her son, waiting for her baby girl.
