Josie Bates’ Daughters Got A Look At Their Newest Sibling In A Recent Social Media Share
Josie and her family became known to audiences through the Up TV series, Bringing Up Bates. She is the tenth child of Gil and Kelly Bates. In her own life, Josie married Kelton Balka in 2018. Since then, they’ve had two daughters, Willow and Hazel, and a son, Miles. Recently, it was announced that a fourth baby is on the way.
In a recent video on Instagram, Josie took her daughters to see their first ultrasound, getting a good glimpse at their new sibling. As she wrote in a caption, “They’re going to be the best big sisters.” The girls could be seen in their father Kelton’s lap as they watched their new sibling on the ultrasound. They were treated to audio of the baby’s heartbeat as they tried to make out the baby’s image. Taking a closer look, Josie told her daughters that the baby was “smiling” at them. Afterwards, Josie shared a series of photos of the ultrasound with her daughters. The girls were also especially excited about getting so many pictures, with them also comparing the baby to a “pirate.”

On whether they were getting a new brother or sister, the girls seemed to believe the new baby was a girl. Fans then took to the comments to ask if the baby’s gender had already been revealed. As one fan wrote, “Can’t remember if you have said if you will find out the gender or no??” Josie herself responded to this, noting, “We’re waiting until birth.” In other words, fans will have to wait for the big day to see if the girls were right about their new sister.
