Fans of Bringing Up Bates have been following the family as Erin Bates recently shared that she just had a new baby. However, the family has since been asking for prayers amid this time. Recently, Kelly Jo took to social media to update fans, in addition to assuring them that the family is aware of their concerns.
Erin Bates Recently Welcomed Her Son Henry This Late August
Viewers became familiar with the Bates family through the UP TV series, Bringing Up Bates. The series followed the lives of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their nineteen children from 2015 to 2021. Recently, the family had big news to share with the family. Erin Bates and her husband, Chad Paine, recently welcomed their latest baby, Henry, into the world.
Taking to Instagram, the family recently shared, “After a long and emotional labor, our miracle arrived. Henry Blythe was born August 25th.” However, the post also asked fans for prayers as Erin was facing complications from the pregnancy. It was shared, “Henry is doing wonderful, but we would so appreciate your prayers for Erin as she continues to recover from some complications.”
As fans know, Erin and Chad were married in 2013. In addition to Henry, they are also parents to Carson, William, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland, and Finley. In a later post, Kelly Jo Bates herself also shared a video of getting to meet her new grandson for the first time. She shared on Instagram, “This has been the most amazing week, because I got to meet my newest grandchild! Little Henry Blythe Paine was born 8-25-25 at 2:32 pm, weighing 5 lbs. 12 oz and 19 in. long.”
Fans Were Recently Given Another Update On Social Media
Since then, fans have grown concerned for the family, especially Erin, as she dealt with the complications of the pregnancy. Recently, another update was shared on social media assuring fans that their concerns were heard. On The Bates Family Blog on Facebook, it was also shared, “We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for Erin and baby Henry. We will update as soon as we know more.”
While assuring fans that the family has heard them, it would appear they would still need to continue following the family for further updates. Taking to the comments, fans also continued to send prayers for Erin and Henry. Others made sure to note they hoped an update would come soon. Some comments included:
