Recently, her husband Chad shared an emotional moment concerning their family, especially one of their daughters, on social media. Towards the end of the share, he also shed some light on Erin’s recent test results.
The Bates Family Asked For Prayers After Erin Recently Endured Complications Following Her Seventh Pregnancy
Audiences were introduced to Erin and the Bates family through reality shows like United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates. In her own personal life, Erin married Chad Paine back in 2013 and has since started her own family.
Recently, on social media, the family revealed that Erin had given birth to her seventh child, Henry, on August 25, 2025. In addition, she and Chad share six other children: Carson, William, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland and Finley. However, at the time, the family called on fans for prayers, revealing that Erin had been suffering from complications following the pregnancy. In a recent video shared on Instagram, Chad shared another update with fans.
The video was captioned, “When you get a letter from your little girl after being in the hospital for weeks.” Erin could be seen lying down in her hospital bed as Chad read the letter to her. Chad read that their daughter Brooklyn was counting “every second” while waiting to see her mother again. Amid tears, he continued, reading their daughter’s promise to love Erin “no matter what happens.” The letter ended with Brooklyn sending her love to her mother and her new baby brother, Henry.
Chad Shared Erin’s Test Results Towards The End Of The Video
Chad then leaned over to give Erin a kiss. The camera then closed up on the letter, allowing fans to see drawings Brooklyn made for her mother. As the video came to a close, Chad assured Erin that she was going to get better. As he noted, her test results came back, with everything looking “good.”
A caption to the post also read, “A moment we never want to forget. Being away from our babies has been harder than we ever imagined. Our hearts ache to be together again.” Taking to the comments, fans shared their own reactions to the post.
