Jinger Duggar’s Husband Injured Protecting Daughter
Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband have three children: Felicity, 6, Evangeline, 4, and Finnegan, 6 months. They also experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2019.
Jeremy Vuolo was sporting an arm cast on the podcast on October 8. He said that he didn’t even know anything was broken until a week after the incident. “I had mobility, and it didn’t hurt. Like, I wasn’t wincing through the day,” he said. But after visiting a hand specialist, he found out he’d suffered a broken bone, the first in his life. “It’s been confirmed. My fourth metacarpal on my left hand is smashed,” he shared.
How It Happened
Jinger Duggar revealed that her husband sustained the injury in a heroic move to save their daughter from getting hurt. They’d talked about it on the podcast before but he didn’t know how serious the injury was.
According to the couple, Jeremy Vuolo slipped at the fairgrounds while holding their oldest daughter, Felicity. “We were at a fairgrounds when it happened. It was one of those accidents that you protected her head, and I think that’s why you landed so weird—because you put your left hand down, and she was in your right arm,” Jinger explained.
