The Johnstons should be celebrating a new season but a shocking report reveals they’re in serious financial trouble. Trent and Amber Johnston were hit with a huge lien after failing to pay taxes. Keep reading to find out how much they owe.
Trent, Amber Johnston Failed To Pay Taxes, Huge Lien
Trent and Amber Johnston live on a 10-acre ranch in Forsyth, Georgia. Some of their five kids live with them still. The family has been struggling with Trent’s health issues. On top of that, his mother recently passed away. Emma Johnston shared a heartfelt tribute to her “Nana.” Despite starring on reality TV for the last decade, the Johnstons are apparently struggling to keep up with their bills. The U.S. Sun reported that Trent and Amber got hit with a huge tax lien in July.

The couple owes a whopping $435,407.08 in back taxes. According to the outlet, Trent and Amber Johnston didn’t pay their taxes in 2021, 2022, or 2023.
A tax lien could mean the Johnstons could lose their house or other property to pay off the debt. But fans don’t feel bad for them. Check out some of the comments about their massive tax debt:
- “Sounds like they need to place a call to Todd Chrisley”
