According to police records, officers responded to a domestic violence report involving Garrick and Lorrana.
Documents later confirmed that the argument escalated when Garrick grabbed her phone and refused to let her contact her family in Brazil. When she tried to call the police, he still withheld her phone and allegedly threatened to contact ICE.
