Sister Wives star Maddie Brown’s husband, Caleb Brush, has been fighting a serious health condition for quite some time. Maddie previously revealed that Caleb’s kidneys are not functioning properly. She went on to explain that Caleb is dealing with chronic kidney disease, adding that it’s one of the main reasons why they don’t want to have any more kids.

Last October, Maddie shared how worried she was for her husband, as he continues to battle his kidney disease. According to the Sister Wives star, they may be looking into getting an organ donor if Caleb’s numbers continue to drop. “If they drop to 20 percent, we will be looking at a transplant,” she wrote.

Studies say that chronic kidney disease has treatments to slow down its progress. But the patient’s life will remain in danger if they don’t get transplants. It’s unclear when and how Caleb got the disease.
It’s unclear how far Janelle and the rest of the family will go to support Caleb. Fans know that Kody hasn’t been in touch with many of his older kids and in-laws. Due to this, it won’t be surprising if he hasn’t offered a helping hand to the struggling couple.

It was previously shared that Caleb is working as an elevator mechanic. But with his worsening condition, it’s unclear if he’s still able to fix elevators for a living in the future.

Janelle is currently building her dream house close to Maddie and Caleb. Many fans are proud of what Janelle has achieved since leaving Kody.
