Trace recently took to IG to share new photos and clips with Trace and their kids as they celebrate the Christmas season. But what caught the attention of many was Lydia’s caption, saying that it’s their first Christmas as a family of five.

It’s known that Lydia currently has two kids and hasn’t announced a pregnancy. Due to this, some Bringing Up Bates fans on Reddit began to speculate that either Lydia is currently in a very early stage of pregnancy, especially considering that she just welcomed a baby girl last June.

Lydia Postpartum Journey
Lydia and Trace welcomed their second child in June 2025, a baby girl named Kaia. Since then, Lydia has been documenting her life as a mother to two small kids. Recently, the Bringing Up Bates star uploaded a stunning clip of herself in her winter outfit while recovering from postpartum, receiving positive comments from her followers.

But despite all the challenges, Lydia remains positive. She has yet to show signs of wanting more kids with Trace. But Gil and Kelly Jo are currently expecting to welcome 3 more kids next year from Tiffany, Tori, and Whitney.
