As she opens the door to her empty abode, a massive living area with a fireplace can be seen immediately. She makes her way towards the kitchen — which features a center island and stone countertops — while offering a look at the high ceilings the property boasts. The space appears to have a connected dining area with doors leading outside to the deck. She then walks into what appears to be the primary bedroom which overlooks the front porch. In the attached bathroom, the massive space boasts dual sinks, a soaking tub and a separate shower.
Sister Wives: Janelle Calls Her New House A Personal Journey In A New Blog
Sister Wives star Janelle recently opened up about what she was thinking as she was almost done completing her home. In a new social media post, she wrote that building a house is not a finish line but a journey. She described the process as meaningful, emotional, and sometimes messy, yet grounding at the same time. Janelle shared that she also wrote a blog about the whole journey.
She felt that this time in her life, she had been focusing on planting roots with Taeda Farms and choosing herself along the way. On the Taeda Farms website, she explained that this is the first time she has built a house. She said watching an idea grow from a dream to an actual structure feels powerful. Reflecting on her past, Janelle noted that she has lived in many places where she had to adapt and compromise.
While she sees that as a skill, this time it was different for her. She felt that decorating her new home was less about trends and more about telling her own story. Fans praised her for stepping away from her life in Flagstaff and the Brown family’s plural dynamic. Fans also highlighted how far Janelle has come, especially as she balances her business, her children, and her own life.
