The hearing is for Josh’s motion to vacate his conviction, meaning that he still wants to prove his innocence.

Many were surprised to see Josh still attempting to dismiss his case, even after years in prison. He’s currently serving his 12.5-year sentence and is expected to be released in 2032. It was initially set for August 2032, but he received additional prison time after getting caught with a contraband phone.
