Sister Wives Daughter In Law Transitioned
Sister Wives stars came together in July 2023 to watch Christine and Kody Brown’s daughter Gwendyln get married. She married Beatriz Queiroz. After their ceremony, Gwendyln posted a photo and said, “Say hello to mrs (x2) queiroz.”
Now, over two years later, it’s being confirmed that Bea is now going by the name Ben. Fans went to social media to discuss the fact that Bea transitioned and began identifying as they/them. A fan noted that now the transition is complete and Ben identifies as he. Gwendyln has been quiet on social media, but fans picked up on the transition happening when Christine called Bea Ben in her book multiple times.
Gwendyln’s Intagram bio reads, “🍉 free palestine ❤️ TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS BS in Biology | Minors in Psych & Spanish” In October 2022, in an episode of Sister Wives, Gwendyln told her sister Truely that she is bisexual. She said, “I’m bisexual. I’m not only attracted to women, I’m also attracted to men and people that fall into other gender spectrums.” Gwendyln is not the only Brown child to be a part of the LGBTQ community. Kody and Meri Brown’s child came out as transgender in 2022. They currently live in Denver with their partner.
What Did Fans Have To Say?
The original poster on social media said, “I thought they got the name wrong to begin with but no they’ve transitioned. Not sure about pronouns etc… they don’t appear to be on socials currently. I thought it was worth mentioning as although Gwen and Ben don’t get a lot of mentions on this sub, we want to ensure we’re not dead naming anyone. Edit: it does not harm you in anyway shape or form to respect Bens choices”. Other fans chimed in on the conversation and said:
- “Ben was also mentioned in Christine’s book. Thats when I first knew.”
- “Yes, I’m assuming he changed his name by the time her book was being done (family would have known). So she called him by his name.”
- “Mykelti said that Ben does identify as he/him now. That was on the Sarah Fraser show.”
Some fans argued that it is their business and didn’t need to be blasted everywhere. Others pointed out that the family has addressed it and is fine with it and very supportive.
