Amy Duggar King Shares Husband Dillon King Is Dealing With “Life-Threatening Medical Concerns”
19 Kids & Counting’s Amy Duggar King shared that her husband Dillon King is facing “life-threatening medical concerns” amid his 37th birthday.
Amy Duggar King is navigating a family health crisis.
The Counting On alum marked her husband Dillon King’s 37th birthday by sharing a photo of him in a doctor’s office with medical IVs attached to his arm, revealing that the special day wasn’t quite going the way she hoped.
“Normally we’d be celebrating in a huge way,” she wrote in a post on Instagram April 3, “but currently we are facing some possible life-threatening medical concerns.”
While Amy—the niece of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar—did not elaborate on the nature of Dillon’s ailment, the 38-year-old turned to her followers for support.
“Today I’d like to ask for some prayers on his behalf,” she continued. “I know God has him, but we welcome the prayers!! I can’t think of a better gift for him!”
As fans offered well wishes in the comments section, so did some of Amy’s cousins.
“Happy birthday, Dillon! Praying for you all,” Jinger Duggar Vuolo wrote, while Jill Duggar Dillard added, “HBD Dillon! Praying for y’all!”
But amid the medical situation, Amy made sure to celebrate Dillon—with whom she shares son Dax, 5—calling him “my favorite person on the planet.”

Amy concluded the message with some heartfelt encouragement for her husband, writing, “Dillon we can get through anything together.”
In recent years, Amy has been estranged from parts of her extended family after speaking out against her cousin Josh Duggar, who is serving a 12-and-a-half-year sentence on child pornography charges.
“I have not spoken to him, and I will not,” she told People in April 2024. “When you just cross those evil lines like that, there is no coming back. I just think there’s no coming back.”
