ANNA Duggar has been praised by fans for breaking from strict family rules while parenting her children. Josh Duggar’s wife shared a rare social media video of her daughter Meredith on Instagram, revealing some Duggar family rules she’s chosen to ignore.
In the clip, Anna’s 10-year-old daughter is seen playing with Golden Retriever puppies while sitting on the couch. The dogs can be seen climbing in her lap as she sits crosslegged, petting them and smiling.

Meredith appears to be wearing jeans in the social media clip – a fashion choice typically not allowed in the Duggar family, though older members of the famous family have broken away from that rule as well. Anna herself now wears pants on occasion, though she previously wore only modest dresses and skirts.
The video, posted on the Instagram account for Anna‘s dog breeding business reveals the names of the puppies, which sheds some light on other parenting rules Anna, 37, has seemingly shied away from.
According to the caption, the litter of pups is named after Disney Frozen characters. “Introducing our Arendelle Pups. Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven. Anna, Elsa, Iduna, and Samantha,” the caption reads. “Available very soon! Get your pup now before we ‘let it go… let it GO!’”
Traditionally, the Duggar family does not watch any kind of television or secular media, including Disney films and shows. It appears, however, that Anna’s children do.
In the comments fans praised Anna’s daughter, who is seldom seen on social media. “Is this Meredith! She’s so beautiful,” one person posted. A second commenter gushed: “The dogs are absolutely adorable and so is your daughter! Wow.” “Your twin, Anna,” wrote a third.

Anna turned to dog breeding amid major money challenges. Prior to Josh‘s incarceration in 2022, the 19 Kids and Counting star was not married. She began running a company called Golden Grove Pups in Arkansas, where she’s from. Anna sells English Cream AKC Golden Retrievers, and she charges a pretty penny for the dogs.
In September 2025, it was revealed that she charges about $2,000 for a puppy. She revealed the price in an Instagram post, which read: “Looking for a furry friend? Just $2,000. They are ready to come home in one week.”
