7 Little Johnstons star Anna Johnston made a shady comment about her mom, Amber Johnston, as their family drama heats up following the season 15 finale of their TLC reality show.
Amber, 46, and husband Trent Johnston did a TikTok video that TLC posted on Sunday, March 15, showing the differences between their Generation X takes on doing things like snapping a photo and dialing phone vs. those of their Generation Z kids, including Jonah Johnston, 25, Liz Johnston, 23, and adopted children Emma Johnston, 19, and Alex Johnston, 19.
Each parent stood on one side of a wall while their child did the motion producers asked on the other side. Fans noticed immediately that Anna, 24, wasn’t included in the video, where Amber was smiling and happy along with the rest of her family.
“Oh her favorite daughters. You see how I’m not in them,” Anna wrote in the comments section. As of Tuesday, March 18, the comment had 16.6 million “likes” from fans.

“We only care about Anna,” one person wrote under the TikTok video, while another added, “Don’t careeee where’s Anna?”
A third viewer said of 7 Little Johnstons, “I won’t watch anymore. Anna needs her own show without them,” while a fourth person snarked to the video’s producers, “So awesome of y’all to include Anna!”
Anna previously admitted that her mother attending the same school had a negative impact on her college life, ultimately leading her to want to skip walking the stage at graduation.
“It felt like a competition with me,” she explained in a confessional during episode 9 of season 15 that aired on March 4. “Definitely the honors s–t, asking multiple times, ‘Well, what’s your grades? Why are you not in there?’ … It took away from my college experience and I just didn’t want to celebrate it with her.”

During the March 11 season finale episode, in which the family gathered for a party to celebrate Anna’s graduation, she couldn’t hide how miserable she was.
“Anna, you excited to graduate? I couldn’t tell if you were at a funeral or at a graduation,” Jonah asked his sister.
“From the outside it looks like my family is very welcoming and I am not being very welcomed [sic] back. But when my parents get mad at me, they’ll get mad at me for however long they want but then when they’re finally over and they decide they want to talk to me, and they expect me to forget about it and do the same thing,” Anna explained in a confessional.
Later in the episode, Anna told producers, “Things did not go good at the graduation party. I did not feel great, so right now I don’t know if I want to be around my parents,” referring Amber and Trent, 49.
Jonah called his sister’s behavior “rude,” adding, “I don’t know what’s going on but I do know we have a lot of big family events that are about to happen so I do hope things get better.”
For Amber, she said it’s been “tough” dealing with her daughter’s emotions.
“We’re tired of going along with Anna’s ‘snap out of it,’ and then we have maybe three, four, maybe five weeks if we’re lucky of Anna being happy and wanting to be around the family,” Amber explained. “Then we get right back into, Anna, you know, hating every one of us, and not speaking to us. We’re tired of playing that game.”
