Counting On star Jessa Duggar welcomed her sixth baby in late July 2025—but does she want more kids?
Recently, Jessa, 33, offered a clue on whether she and her husband, Ben Seewald, 30, are open to adding more children to their family in a video she shared on her YouTube channel. The couple starred on TLC‘s 19 Kids and Counting and its spinoff, Counting On, until the show was canceled in 2021.
In a YouTube video published in late November, Jessa showed her followers how she updated a wall in her home that displays the newborn photos of her six kids.
“I want to show y’all what I did with the baby wall,” she said. “So if you remember, my predicament was I didn’t have enough frames, and they didn’t sell the style of frame anymore. So I didn’t have a frame for Edward. So here’s what I did.”
Edward was born in late July and has five older siblings: Spurgeon, 10, Henry, 8, Ivy, 6, Fern, 4, and George, who turns 2 on Dec. 19.
“So I bought two new frames for the girls,” the busy mom continued. “And so they have their own little style. And then I repurposed one of their for Edward’s so there we go: Edward is now on the baby wall.”
She added, “And, just in case, who knows if we’ll need them or not, I went ahead and bought two more of these frames. Just so, if the Lord blesses us with any kids in the future, we’ll have those two frames to go continue the pattern.”
Considering the Duggar parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, welcomed a total of 19 children, fans weren’t too shocked by Jessa’s being open to having more kids.
One Redditor pointed out, “She’s said their number is 8 since basically the beginning of their courtship.” Another predicted, “Basically she’s decided she’s having a minimum of 2 more children,” as someone else replied, “Surprised she only bought 2 more.” A different Reddit user lamented, “And I thought Jessa was going to be the one to break free from this cult and mindset to have as many children as possible. She’s going to be just like her parents. Popping out kids every two years, and making her oldest girl raise them.” Yet another critic wrote, “Might be time for a secret vasectomy, Bin.”
Meanwhile, someone else commented, “I’d be more concerned with running out of wall space than running out of frames. Will they just run all along the top of the wall like a wallpaper border?”
