Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates returns to social media to show off her new look after getting a facial procedure. Carlin has been documenting her life as a mother to three kids. It’s been a busy season for her since giving birth to her third child in September 2025. A few days ago, Carlin took to social media to share a clip of herself in a cosmetic clinic. The Bringing Up Bates star then revealed that she’s documenting her skincare journey. She later revealed that she’s undergoing microneedling, a process that helps rejuvenate skin, giving it a smoother and more flawless texture.
Microneedling is not as invasive as other facial procedures, which is one of the main reasons why Carlin decided to go for it. She later shared a clip of herself arriving at the cosmetic center with her sister, Josie, who’s also taking the procedure. Carlin admitted that she was very nervous about it, but having a sister doing the same thing by her side makes things much easier.

Carlin Shows Off New Face After Procedure
In an IG Stories post, Carlin shared a photo of herself showing the aftermath of her microneedling procedure. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she still has a small amount of redness around her mouth, and her skin is still feeling dry. She added that she’s been taking moisturizers since the procedure.

But despite the struggles, Carlin admitted that she can already see the glow of her skin. She also said that her pores have gotten smaller and that the lines on her forehead have become softer. She wrote, “Really happy with how it’s looking so far.”
Carlin and Josie are expected to take another session of microneedling. In Josie’s IG post, Carlin told her sister that she’s already looking forward to their second procedure, adding that it was so fun doing it with her.
