Carlin Bates & Evan Stewart Reveal Intimate Birthing Details
In around a month, one of the Bringing Up Bates families will be expanding. Carlin Bates and her husband, Evan Stewart, are thrilled to welcome baby number three. They shared the big news in February 2025 with a sweet pregnancy announcement. Along with their children, Layla and Zade, Carlin and Evan donned white tops and denim bottoms for their photos. They held the sonogram, beaming at what was happening in their lives. Their large family was over the moon about this, although there are over thirty grandkids to love on. Followers were also elated that they were welcoming baby number three, and could not wait to meet them.
Now, Carlin and Evan have made a vlog discussing their upcoming birthing plan. Much like the Duggars, the Bates kids often share everything in their personal lives. While away on a babymoon, the couple detailed what to expect when Carlin gives birth. As of now, they have not settled on a name, but they are working on who will be in the delivery room. For their first child, both moms were there, but Carlin really wants her sisters in the room. They are great at hyping each other up, so this makes perfect sense.
With their second baby, it was just Evan Stewart and Carlin Bates, but this time, the sisters will be there for this momentous occasion. Yet, it will be interesting how they go about it since only one is allowed. Who will Carlin pick, as she figured two of them could keep switching, but that is not feasible? Additionally, she wants to avoid a C-section unless medically necessary, and she would love an epidural. Carlin has had them twice before, and yes, she would possibly like to experience a natural birth.
Evan Is A Huge Support
The one thing that Evan Stewart said throughout the entire vlog Q&A was how he supported his wife no matter what. He emphasized how women should be able to choose how they deliver and do whatever they feel is best. Carlin Bates is lucky that she has someone who will be by her side without judgment. They will finally be able to have their kids come meet their new sibling in the hospital, but one sister will be watching them while Carlin delivers. It was noted that there will not be a home birth, and the hospital is the only way that they will go.
