Bringing Up Bates: Carlin Sends Son Zade To Hospital For New Year
Carlin recently took to IG Stories to share updates about Zade following his recent hospital checkup. The Bringing Up Bates star revealed that they went to see a specialist for Zade’s hearing. According to Carlin, Zade got his ears checked, and she’s happy to report that his numbers are fine.

Carlin even said that Zade “crushed” his therapy, indicating that he’s recovering well. She wrote, “A reminder that it’s always okay to double check when it brings you peace.” Some fans from Reddit react to Carlin’s update regarding Zade. Some hope that Carlin will continue to push Zade through speech therapy, which is one of his current challenges.
- “Its good they took him and maybe this was on her radar because she has a sister with a hearing issue who wears hearing aides (I think she does at least- I could be wrong!). Now that his hearing is fine, hopefully they will continue with speech therapy for him.”
- “I think if Zade was around kiddos his own age like at preschool ,his speech would get better .This poor lil boy seems to be isolated in the house with no age appropriate toys,his princess sister and doesn’t seem to ever be allowed to run and play outside unless it’s for the gram .”
