Christine Brown Breaks Silence on Paedon Moving to North Carolina to Be Closer to Janelle
In the upcoming episode of Sister Wives, viewers will see that Christine’s son makes an enormous decision. Earlier, it was revealed that Christine wasn’t pleased about Mykelti, Tony, and their three kids moving to North Carolina. Mykelti also revealed that her mother was heartbroken when she learned that she was leaving. Christine and her husband currently live in Utah. However, she stepped forward to help and accompanied Mykelti and her husband to assist with the move.
After Mykelti, Christine’s son Paedon has also decided to move far from her. In the upcoming episode, he reveals to Janelle that he has decided to move to the Tarheel State. He also says that he wants to be close to Janelle. Fans may recall that, from time to time, Christine has admitted that she really trusts Janelle. Sister Wives fans learned that Christine walked away from the polygamous marriage when she didn’t receive the same amount of love and effort she put in. She wasn’t particularly sad that Kody didn’t love her as he loved his other wives. However, the fact that he ignored their kids truly broke something inside her. She always wanted him to be there for the children, but he clearly failed.
In an interview with People, she revealed that her children strongly believed their father did not prioritize them like he did the other kids. She also admitted that Brown never even tried to be with his adult children. Christine never wanted her kids to grow up with that belief. She also shared that she really hoped Kody would understand that he needs to look after his adult children.

Sister Wives viewers will soon see Christine’s only son, Paedon, tell her that he has decided to move to a new place. While Christine is already hurt over her daughter, Mykelti, moving to North Carolina, she might not react well to the news. Paedon also adds that he is thinking about becoming a permanent resident in the Tarheel State. In the clip, Christine says, “Why? Why does he need to move as well?”

She clearly sounds upset and disappointed. Christine further adds that it is hard for her to accept that her kids do not want to live near her. “What is it about North Carolina that has people moving there?” she questions. She also says that her son’s decision is “actually rubbish.” Paedon then reveals that he made this decision in connection with Garrison’s death.
He admits that he wants to stay close to Janelle since she lost a son, and he lost a best friend. Paedon says that he wants to be close to her, Maddie, and her kids. “I just lost a huge part of me and it’s not here [in Arizona],” he adds. Christine says that she trusts Janelle with her kids. However, she admits that she’s really upset about it. She says, “Sometimes I feel like a crappy mom because they’re not choosing to live next to me.”
She also reveals that at times she feels Janelle is a better mother, which is why her kids choose to live close to her. Previously, when Janelle quipped that she would have all the grandchildren for herself, Christine was clearly hurt by the joke. Maddie and Mykelti are the only family members with kids. Even if Christine is not happy about her children’s decisions, she and her children seem to be maintaining a good relationship.
