Counting On: Josh Duggar’s Cell Continues To Face Punishment

Earlier this year, an insider surfaced claiming that Josh’s prison cell faced punishment following a contraband incident. According to the insider, the prison decided to cut down the cell’s recreational time following the incident. This led to inmates reportedly doing a hunger strike, though it’s unclear if the Counting On alum participated in it. It was then revealed that the authorities cancelled inmates’ classes, making them stay in their cells more often. There was no lockdown reported, but it’s clear that Josh’s life is getting more difficult in prison.

Josh Gets Cut Off On Prison Food

A new source recently shared new details regarding the food status in Josh Duggar’s prison cell. According to the source, the inmates’ budget for food was cut down from $360 to $25. This comes after an inmate allegedly pulled a prank on one of the guards for serving half portions of food. It was also reported that the inmates were complaining about “bug-ridden” food being served. But instead of a fix, the Counting On alum’s prison cell ended up getting a lower budget for food. The insider added that they’re on lockdown for the next few days or a week.

Another insider claimed that the prank was so bad. It allegedly involved urine and chemicals being spilled on a staff member, which caused burns. It was also said that their budget was cut down to $25 so they could no longer purchase substances that could be used for harmful acts. With their budget being cut off, it is expected that hunger will be a bigger problem in the coming days. Inmates could purchase food such as a pack of chicken for $5.65 and a $4.50 granola cereal. There are also beef sausages, mashed potatoes, and coffee that costs around $5-6. But with only a $25 budget, it seems Josh will go through hell trying to keep his stomach filled.

Counting On: Josh Duggar Going Through A Rough Time?

A separate insider also came out last April, saying that Josh is going through an emotional crisis. The source said that it has been “hell on earth” on Josh’s cell, and he’s been looking for family support. The constant punishment of his cell has affected him mentally. They’ve also been getting served with inedible foods. Some Counting On fans believe Josh is now suffering the consequences of his sin, and he deserves every second in prison.
