At the time, however, the family asked for prayers as Erin was dealing with various health issues. Since then, further updates have been shared with fans about Erin’s condition. One recent video, however, gave fans hope as it showed a touching moment between the mother and her new son.
Erin Bates Got To Have A Touching Moment With Her Newborn Son In A Recent Video
Erin and the Bates family became known to audiences through the reality series, Bringing Up Bates. In 2013, Erin married Chad Paine and has since created a family of her own. Taking to social media, the family recently announced that Erin had given birth to her seventh child, a boy named Henry, born on August 25, 2025. However, with the news, it had also been shared that Erin was dealing with various health complications.
In one recent share from the family, fans were reassured with good news. On Instagram, a post read, “With tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery. Your prayers have definitely touched heaven.”
briIn an accompanying video, Erin could be seen holding her new baby, as well as giving him multiple kisses. The star could be seen opening her eyes, with Henry appearing to give his mother a smile during the emotional moment. The touching scene was set to CeCe Winans’ “Goodness of God.” The moment was notable as Erin had been facing a number of complications during and following her pregnancy. Just a day prior, Chad shared an update on Instagram, noting that Erin had been in the ICU.
Fans Had Been Given A Number Of Previous Updates Over Erin On Social Media
At the time, Chad wrote, “I have so many mixed emotions as I share this. Last night, Erin suffered a lengthy and severe seizure. Up to this point, Erins infection was getting better, but we found ourselves back in a place of heartache, uncertainty, and tears. She is in the ICU, and the doctors are running scans and tests to determine the cause. Erin is extremely weak and spent hours only half conscious.” Chad also took the moment to share his love for Erin during this time and what it was like watching her endure these health issues. He shared, “As her husband, it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced — to sit by her side and watch her struggle while being so helpless to ease her suffering.”
“I love her more deeply than words can express, and I can’t even imagine life without my best friend. The hours have been long and heavy, and I know many hearts are aching to see her this way, along with mine.”
A few days before this, Chad had shared that Erin had developed a severe UTI and kidney infection. Throughout it all, fans were asked to keep Erin and Henry in their prayers. With this recent video, however, fans have some reassurance that their prayers have been answered. Hopefully, a video of Erin and Henry’s homecoming will soon be shared with fans.
