Fans Criticized Things Ranging From The Video Looking Staged To Lawson’s Lack Of A Shirt

Taking to social media, some fans feel that the skit might have fallen flat. As one fan shared, “These two are so freaking cringe worthy it’s not even funny. Like, why is this grown man always shirtless on the internet?” In particular, the fan took issue with Lawson’s lack of a shirt. They continued, “What even was the point of being half naked for this skit!! Also, as ‘good’ as an actress as Tiffy is, it’s beyond lost on me how he gets her to agree to this mess.”

Taking to the comments, various fans shared issues they had with the skit. Some felt it looked too staged. Others commented on the couple’s apparent chemistry. A few even teased that they would unfollow the couple on social media. Some comments included:

  • “In these screenshots they just look annoyed at each other not like they are enjoying each other.”
  • “They deliberately set this up, dressed for it, set up the camera, recorded it, watched it, edited it and uploaded it. That’s what gets to me. Like they want to pretend it’s [some] spontaneous moment they captured but it’s as arranged as a scripted TV show.”
  • “So much thought went into this. The man needs another hobby… a constructive one.”
  • “I’m too sexy for this shirt. So sexy it hurts.”
  • “I had to unfollow because I didn’t want to be reminded how hard she has it [being] pregnant.”
