Is ‘The Little Couple’ Returning to TLC in 2026? Here’s What We Know

On social media you might have noticed that plenty of February 2026 posts claim that the TLC show, The Little Couple, returns for Season 15. And the inference is that it returns this year. However, that might be fake news. Read on to discover why it might not be time to celebrate the return of Jen Arnold, Bill Klein, and their kids, Zoey and Will.

Where Did The Rumors Start?

The rumors started back in September 2024. At the time, TV Shows Ace posted an article titled Bill Klein Shares Exciting News, ‘The Little Couple’ Is Back. The details revealed that Bill Klein responded to folks talking about a return. But, he actually said:

I saw someone post that a few episodes from our final season… 14 seasons… are airing tomorrow night on @tlc . I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we last made an episode …not that we are doing anything like that at present…”

Next, he confirmed no communication with the network, but he did ask if fans would like to see The Little Couple back on TV.

The Newly Shared Articles

In the last few days, several Facebook pages, including Little People Big World Fans, shared a link to an article by Daily News. The title of that article said: “Big News!! The Little Couple is Back! Season 15 Renewal Announced! Here’s How to Watch.”

Well, it’s an old article. But in fairness to the outlet, they mentioned that it was just a series of throwback scenes from the show. And yes, it did run briefly. Notably, though, it wasn’t a new Season 15 slated for 2026. Some previews arrived on TLC’s Instagram 1 year, 4 months, and 24 days ago. So yes, it’s old news. We checked it out and seemingly, there’s no official update from TLC that the show returns with a new season this year.

Lawsuits

Might the show bring new seasons? Maybe in time. However, that seems a bit doubtful as neither Jen Arnold nor Bill Klein mentioned it on social media this month. Notably, there were legal disputes, and reality TV platforms seem unhappy with that kind of thing. In fact, back in 2016, it all began with the production company that made the show. LMNO Cable Group discovered that their accountant allegedly embezzled lots of cash. Upon confrontation, lawsuits and threats of extortion came, claiming that Discovery, the parent company of TLC, were cooking the books regarding production costs.

Lawsuits followed between the big players. Meanwhile, the next year, Jen Arnold and Bill Klein also climbed in on the lawsuit ladder. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the duo tried “rescinding their intellectual-property rights.” They wanted “their rightful share of contingent compensation from the series.” At the end of the day, Bill and Jen settled their claims. However, they couldn’t take The Little Couple to another platform. The judge ruled against it because of their original contracts.

New Seasons Unlikely?

While TLC still owns the brand for the reality TV show, it seems that the ship sailed for all parties involved. Additionally, while Zoey Klein pleaded for a return, the family probably no longer needs the hassle or the income these days.
