Jana Duggar can’t seem to stay away from Arkansas for very long. The newlywed is approaching her first wedding anniversary with Stephen Wissmann. They are based in Nebraska, and she moved there following their August 2024 wedding.
However, Jana and Stephen spend a considerable amount of time in Arkansas. They are the couple who visit the Big House more than any of the other married siblings who live in a different state.
And while it’s true that Nebraska and Arkansas aren’t far, the frequency of the visits seems to indicate that Jana may miss her former home. It’s also worth mentioning that she likely misses her siblings as well. She helped raise the second set of children and remained in the Duggar home much longer than her sisters.
Jana Duggar catches heat for Arkansas visit
On Instagram, Jana Duggar put together some of the memories from her trip back home. Included in it were a few shots of the rodeo they attended, which garnered plenty of attention from followers. Many were unhappy that she and Stephen Wissmann would attend something like a rodeo because of the treatment of the animals that take part in the show.
Jana also shared some moments spent with family, including several of her brothers and various family members, as they enjoyed a meal out.

As Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann approach their wedding anniversary, the topic of having children continues to surface. Speculation about whether Jana is pregnant often arises, particularly when she posts from unusual angles.
The couple has yet to announce that a baby is on the way, and if or when they do, it will likely be done on her YouTube channel to maximize the monetary value. Jana had Jessa Duggar’s help setting up her channel, and she has used it on and off since before she married Stephen.
