Jen Gets Serious About Vaccinations

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the mom of Zoey and Will Klein took a bit of heat for pushing the vaccination. Actually, as time went by, it became a bit controversial. Still, she won’t stop talking about it because she cares about kids. So, the public resistance to vaccinations really worries the pediatric specialist.

In the latest part three of her Instagram series, the former The Little Couple mom focused on the evidence that assures hesitant folks that vaccinations are safe. In her long caption, Jen explained:

• Routine childhood vaccines prevent approximately 24 million cases of disease annually in the United States
• There is no link between vaccines and autism—this has been studied extensively in over 1 million children
• Vaccines do not “overload” the immune system—children encounter thousands of antigens daily through normal environmental exposures.

Beyond that, she assured her followers that the stuff in vaccines actually come in such low doses than anything found in “everyday environmental exposure.” So, that makes them totally safe.

Fans React In The Comments

The push against vaccinations seems to be rooted in the fact that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. seems reluctant to recommend all of them. So, plenty of people appreciate that Jen Arnold shares her take on it as a professional in the medical field. Here are few positive reactions from the discussion:

  • Thank you, @jenarnoldmd for speaking out and spreading awareness about the importance of children getting vaccinated! I love your compassion and big heart in caring for others.
  • As a first time mom due in April, your videos are giving me such peace of mind. Thank you.
  • Thank you , my daughter is listening to someone that tells her they are a waster of time or that can make them get sick

Some folks Aren’t Convinced

It seems like the TLC alum has an uphill fight to prove her point. From the discussion area, it appears that many people feel wary about vaccinations. One critic wrote, “It’s literally on the paper inserts that come with the vials that it has caused autism, death and other side effects. It is not 100% safe and those with MTHFR mutation like me, and a large unknowing population, cannot process them. One size does not fit all.”
