In previous Duggar News, fans closely followed Jill Duggar’s difficult journey through pregnancy and loss before her heartfelt update. Her road was not easy because she suffered two devastating pregnancy losses in 2021 and 2024. While caring for her young child, Jill remained strong despite her sadness. She showed her caring side last year, after her loss, she contacted influencer Abby Howard.
Later, Abby revealed that Jill gave sympathy right away, saying, “Jill reached out at the time right after she heard the news.” “She has so many resources for us, which was really incredible,” she added. Duggar News: Jill Duggar’s Emotional Message About Grief, Fans Can’t Ignore
Even after all this time, Jill didn’t hold back while explaining the feeling of grief. In her Instagram post on Feb. 27, she said, “Life is a constant combination of ups and downs, happiness and sadness, roses and thorns. I’m thankful for God’s faithfulness through all.” The Duggar News star explained that healing is not linear and that some days are more difficult than others. She’s still learning how to live with the loss.
“Anyone who has experienced loss knows that it’s often in the quiet moments when the waves come stronger, and we are reminded more of the hole left by a loss,” she said, opening up about those difficult times,” she added. “Or sometimes you feel it more deeply in a place that just gives you the space to feel. I’m so grateful to have a place to go to remember our daughter,” Jill said, sharing a very brief look into her grief while sitting next to Isla’s gravestone.
Her greatest support system has been her husband, Derick Dillard, and their three sons, Israel, Samuel, and Frederick. Jill is trying to hold on to happy moments amid sorrow. “So thankful for the recent happy moments too! The sun continues to shine & I love trying out my kids’ cooking! Recent recipes included maple cinnamon swirl bread & Froyo dots!” she further shared.
Long-time followers of Duggar News are aware that Jill has previously spoken about Isla. She has continued to honor her daughter’s memory while being open about the suffering that surrounds it after announcing the terrible loss in April 2024. Jill and Derick are deciding to go on, one emotional day, one memory, and one happy moment at a time. Even though their sorrow remains.
