Jinger Duggar Vuolo had a Christmas surprise that felt straight out of a rom-com.
While celebrating the holidays with her family in Arkansas, the former 19 Kids and Counting star revealed that her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, surprised her with an upgraded wedding band. Jinger, 32, shared the moment via Instagram Stories on Sunday, December 28, writing, “@jeremy_vuolo surprised me with a new and upgraded wedding band for Christmas.”
But Jeremy, 38, didn’t stop at the ring. He went all in, turning the gift into a full-blown moment. Jinger shared that her brother-in-law Austin Forsyth “officiate[d] the ceremony,” while their three children—Felicity, 7, Evangeline, 5, and Finnegan, 9 months—were part of the “wedding party” and helped present the ring. In a follow-up slide, Jinger added simply, “ILY @jeremy_vuolo.”
The timing made the surprise even more meaningful. This Christmas marked the first time Jinger, Jeremy, and their kids spent the holiday with her family—including parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar—since she and the former goalkeeper married in 2016.
On the December 22 episode of their podcast, Jinger explained why that hadn’t happened before. “The reason we haven’t been back for Christmas Day,” she told Jeremy, “is because that’s the only time of year that your family is all together.” Over the years, the couple prioritized spending Christmas with Jeremy’s family, especially since the Duggars gather frequently for weddings and other events. “They’re always together a lot,” Jinger added.
Being back together this year clearly made for memorable moments—and some classic Duggar content. On December 25, Joy-Anna Duggar shared an Instagram Reel featuring all nine Duggar sisters and their mom, Michelle, posing in various positions while stone-faced in front of a Christmas tree. “Nothing brings the fam together like making reels. 🤣,” Joy captioned the clip, giving fans a rare and playful glimpse of the sisters reunited for the holidays.

“It’s so nice to see you all back together again. ❤️” a fan wrote.

Between the surprise ring and the sibling-filled festivities, it was clearly a Christmas Jinger won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
