Jinger Duggar Vuolo is now making a big decision about feeding her five-month-old son Finn. Everyone knows that the Duggars believe in breastfeeding, but Jinger is having to decide if she wants to quit doing that or not. He is already five-months-old, but a lot of people breastfeed up to a year or even older.
Jinger Duggar Vuolo Talks About Quitting Breastfeeding
On a recent episode of Jinger and Jeremy’s podcast, she spoke out about quitting breastfeeding her son. She was very open about what she is thinking. Here is what she had to say:
“I was just at the pediatrician with Finn, getting his little checkup. It’s funny how, as parents, you always think your kid’s so much bigger than the average child.”
She went on to explain that he is a bit of a chunk. Jinger said she breastfed him the same as the girls, but they were really skinny. Jinger has another reason to consider stopping breastfeeding. It is all about her diet and her son’s allergies. Jinger said, “He is having an allergy, apparently, to dairy and soy. So I was just talking to the pediatrician and she was like, ‘You could either cut out dairy and soy, or you can just put him on formula.’ So that’s the newest, the latest with Finn.”
What Is Jinger Going To Do?
Jinger Duggar Vuolo wants to do the same thing with Finn that she did with her girls. That was breastfeeding until they are at least one year old or even a bit older. So now, she is confused about what decision she should make. She could change her entire diet because of his allergies or just switch him to formula. This is a big decision for the mom.
Her husband, Jeremy Vuolo was very supportive of her either way. He shared that Finn is a big boy and told her to do whatever she wants to do. It is great that Jeremy is letting her make up her own mind and isn’t pushing her either way. By the end of the podcast, Jinger hasn’t shared what she was going to do.
