Kelly Jo shared a video telling fans to be careful about what they see online. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she just learned that several pages are posting fake news about her kids. Some use real photos of her kids and mix them with fake news. Lawson is the most recent victim. The page used his hospital photos and claimed that he got into a “motorcycle wreck” accident. Kelly Jo added that such fake accounts scam people for donations, and it truly breaks her heart.

Kelly Jo wrote, “PLEASE do not get scammed! I will never ask for money for myself or a family member. Our official accounts on Instagram and Facebook have a verified blue check mark. I have included the true Facebook link in my stories.” Many fans sympathize with Kelly Jo and tell her they’ll report the pages. Others also prayed for Kelly Jo and her family.

Kelly Jo is encouraging her followers to report the pages that are spreading fake news about her family. The Bringing Up Bates star uploaded several photos on IG Stories featuring one of the accounts she wishes to be taken down.

Meanwhile, Lawson took to Instagram to address the fake news about his accident. He clarifies that such things never happened. Lawson then exposed some Facebook profiles that are running groups on FB and approve the posting of fake news about his family. He added that a lot of his family and friends messaged him following the fake news about his hospital photo, and he’s hoping the madness will end soon.
