Matt Roloff Gives Fans an Exclusive Tour of His $1.4M Custom Oregon Mansion

LITTLE People star Matt Roloff has given fans a glimpse inside his $1.4 million mansion, showing off it’s luxe features. A source told The U.S. Sun in September 2025 that the building of the home contributed to the demise of Matt, 64, and former fiancée Caryn Chandler’s relationship. The Little People, Big World family patriarch posted a video on his YouTube channel showing off his recently-completed Oregon home. The mansion, which he had custom-built, cost $1.4 million and boasts thousands of square feet. Matt‘s video kicked off outside the home before he greeted viewers at the door and welcomed them in.

“Finally you’ve made it to see the tour of my beautiful new home,” he said was the camera followed him into the house. Come on in and let me show you around.” The TLC star began with the entryway before panning toward a large living space. “I’m super excited to show you a comprehensive tour, like you’ve all been asking for, of my new home,” he said. He then gave a quick shoutout to his builders, revealing that they finished the home in eight months and came in “under budget.”

Matt showed fans a guest suite, which featured high ceilings, curtains that reached all the way to the floor, a plush bed, and a fuzzy area rug. The suite also included a bathroom for guests to use. He then showed off a playroom, designed to host his grandchildren. Matt said in the clip: “I just had one of my grandkids over the other day, and I’m like, ‘Do you want to go to the playroom or do you want a snack?’

“He goes, ‘I want to go to the playroom.’ So the playroom’s very, very popular. Off the spacious playroom, overflowing with toys, is another plush guest room for visitors. He also showed off the completed kitchen, which features plenty of counter space and accommodations for his stature.

Matt shared the official specs with fans, revealing exactly how many bedrooms his new Oregon home boasts, as well as how many square feet of space are available. “People don’t know, but this is only a three-bedroom house,” Matt shared. “It has the master bedroom, the guest room and then we count this playroom as a bedroom as well.” The father of four added, “it’s about 3,900 square feet – people ask about that.” There’s also plenty of space outside the home, which offers farm views as far as the eye can see. Matt’s home has several accessible bathrooms with showers that are easy for him to access, and lowered knobs and sinks. There are several bathrooms throughout the house, with at least three making it into the video. The entire house is accessible, which is essential for Matt who gets around on crutches.

House broken

The building of the home reportedly played a significant role in the end of Matt and Caryn’s engagement. The couple called off their engagement in July 2025, after eight years together. A source told The U.S. Sun exclusively two months later: “Caryn ended it because Matt didn’t listen to her opinion on certain things. “She didn’t want to be making choices, but she wanted her input to be respected, and it never was. “One thing they didn’t agree on was the house. Caryn didn’t think they needed it at first, and then once it was built, all Matt did was complain about it. “She didn’t feel respected enough to stay and found him quite difficult to be with at times. “She is also getting older and is hoping to live a drama-free life. There’s a lot of drama surrounding Matt and the family. In the end, it was too much.” The source claimed Caryn attempted to sit Matt down more than once to discuss what she felt needed to change for them to make their relationship work.

Ultimately, she felt the right decision was to move on. “She ended it in person, and they actually broke up about a month before Matt’s Facebook post,” the source continued. “There was no specific moment that tipped things. She had just worked at it for long enough, and their relationship wasn’t changing.” Matt spent months working on building their dream home on the family’s farm in Oregon. It had just been completed when they decided to end their relationship. The U.S. Sun reported at the time that Matt spent $1,461,520 on the construction of the home. Public record indicate he spend $397,500 in 2023 and an additional $1,064,020 in 2024 making improvements to the property.

Matt started the construction project in 2023 and completed construction in 2024. He and Caryn started dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2023. Matt shared an Instagram post in July 2025, in which he said: “Hi everyone, I have some tough news to share….. Caryn and I have decided to part ways & end our engagement. “Life’s a continued journey, and this is the right step for us at this time. “We remain amicable and always appreciate the many wonderful memories we have shared. “Your support means the World to me and I’m committed to moving forward with positivity and trust in the path ahead. Much love to all.”

Matt and Caryn were due to tie the knot in May 2024, but pushed the date back after Matt’s mother fell ill.
