In a preview for the Season 6 finale of Seeking Sister Wife, Garrick Merrifield shocks his wives with a third wife bombshell. On the show, he just married Lorrana, who hails from Brazil. Yet, is he already on the lookout for fresh meat? Keep reading for more details.
Garrick Shocks With 3rd Wife Bombshell
When Garrick Merrifield heard a calling from God, it was to add more wives to his family. Yet, it was unclear just how many he was supposed to have. He and his “wife,” Dannielle Merrifield, were seeing more than one woman at once, which did pose a problem. They were engaged to Brazilian Roberta Pache, but also started seeing Lea Newton. This did not sit well with Roberta, and by the end of Season 4, they were left single. The same thing happened in Season 5, until they met Lorrana, whom he proposed to. In Season 6, she married Garrick, and they just welcomed a baby girl. Seeking Sister Wife fans believe that Garrick does not have any respect for women, which has been further proven by his recent domestic violence arrest. However, in the upcoming season finale, filmed before he was arrested, Garrick talks about taking on a third wife. He says that they are still on the lookout, as this is what their family was called to do. It appears to be news to Lorrana, as she and Garrick just got married, and she feels they need more time together. Moreover, it seems so rushed and far too soon to take on someone new.
Buena Vista, Colorado-based Garrick claims that he understands what she is trying to say, but also attempts to justify it. He states this is a plural family and brings up that it is a calling from God. Therefore, the Seeking Sister Wife trio will continue on their journey, and it does not appear that Lorrana has much say. Garrick then drops another bomb on his wife. He shares that if they find a woman from another country, she would have to marry Dannielle.
The Hits Keep Coming
Seeking Sister Wife fans watched Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield get divorced so that he could marry another woman. It was allegedly their best option to bring over a Brazilian sister wife. He and Lorrana are legally married, but what about a third wife? Per Garrick, it could take some time before he and his new wife could get a divorce so he could get remarried again. Therefore, in his mind, it would make sense for Dannielle to marry the next woman. Immediately, Dannielle lets him know that she had no idea that was the plan.
She and Lorrana look very confused that Garrick has made all of these decisions without them. This has brought Dannielle to tears and with good reason. She has changed her whole life and marriage for Garrick, and now, this is another shock and shift. Of course, many lack sympathy for her as she has done whatever Garrick has asked of her, even if it causes her pain.
Fans React To 3rd Wife Revelation
Seeking Sister Wife fans had begun to look at the Merrifields as predators. They only sought out women from other countries whom they seemingly could control. Now that Garrick Merrifield is demanding a third wife plus calling the shots, what are fans saying? More so, are they surprised, or is this exactly what they expected? Some joked while others thought he just wanted a reason to jump into bed:

- God didn’t even talk to Mother Theresa as much as he talks to Gerrick.

A few suggested that Garrick watch Sister Wives and see how that turned out for Kody Brown, but others noted how Garrick has since been arrested. In the end, he may end up alone, so none of this will matter.
