Demands are currently being made for Seeking Sister Wife star Garrick Merrifield to be fired by TLC. As many may know by now, he was just arrested for alleged domestic violence against his second wife, Lorrana. So, will the network do anything, or will they remain complacent? Demands Made For TLC To Fire Garrick Merrifield
Garrick Merrifield has long been a despised cast member of the hit TLC reality series, Seeking Sister Wife. Viewers feel that he is just as bad, if not worse than, Sister Wives patriarch, Kody Brown. Everything he does that is bad or wrong, he uses God to justify his behavior. Furthermore, he has no respect for his “wife,” Dannielle, yet she allows him to treat her as if she were worthless. So, it has been a rough ride, but after four seasons, they have finally nailed down a sister wife, Lorrana. She came from Brazil to Buena Vista, Colorado, and became Garrick’s only legal wife.
Lorrana recently shared that she and Garrick welcomed a daughter, and not long after, he was arrested. It has been alleged that he cannot be in the familial home anymore, but she can. Now, fans are demanding that Garrick be removed from the series. TLC has been up and down with these demands as they have allowed toxic cast members to remain. However, will they let his supposed domestic violence charges fall by the wayside because he makes good television? This question was just posed to viewers:
- Who thinks TLC will fire Garrick after his arrest for domestic violence? He needs to be gone!! Also, can Lorrana take the baby out of the country?
Many Seeking Sister Wife fans had doubts about Garrick all along. They knew he was sketchy and were not surprised by his behavior, if this is deemed to be true. Moreover, they do not want to see him any longer on television and hope he is done for good.
The Fans Speak Up
After this question was proposed, Seeking Sister Wife fans were very vocal about their thoughts. They knew exactly what they wanted TLC to do and how they wanted the situation handled. Mostly, they knew what they wanted to happen to Garrick Merrifield:
- He needs to go away that’s unacceptable. We’re gonna pay to watch somebody that assaults women? Hell no.
- I think they’d have too – this man is sick and a predator- but if he gets them ratings and thus money – they will probably try to bring back
- They should fire him. He’s a predator. I don’t know why he’s still on there anyway his behavior is disgusting.
It was noted that another family who did something similar was let go from the series, so it very well could happen again. Again, if they are bringing TLC money, things could change.
