Sister Wives stars Maddie Brown Brush and Caleb Brush announce the birth of their fourth child, a baby girl, and they named her in honor of Maddie’s late brother, Garrison Brown. It didn’t take long for a fan to pick up on the baby’s name holding a special meaning, and Maddie confirmed that the fan was correct.

Maddie explained the meaning behind her newborn daughter’s name. So, Sister Wives fans learned what the baby’s name stands for before they started to scratch their heads. When hearing the new baby’s name, it sounds nothing like Garrison. The infant’s name is Emilia Estelle Brush. But in Latin, Estelle means star, which suggests a celestial place. And Maddie Brown Brush explains this after a fan picked up on the meaning.
One of the many Sister Wives fans who left comments for the mom of four wrote, “I love her name, especially Estelle. Is it like a tribute to Garrison since Estelle means Star in Latin?” Maddie replied, “That’s exactly what it is”, referring to the baby’s name honoring her late brother.
As fans of ‘Sister Wives’ know, Garrison– one of Kody and ex-wife Janelle Brown’s six children– died by siicide March 5, 2024, at the age of 25. In addition to a passion for rescuing cats, Garrison was also known for sharing photography on social media, with many of the images featuring the night sky.
Several of Garrison’s siblings now have star-related tattoos on them in honor of Garrison. His brother Gabe has “To the stars…” tattooed on him, which is part of the quote, “To the stars, Bowen, to the stars…” from the movie “Dragonheart.”
“Many of the kids got a tattoo with some version of that quote,” Janelle wrote on social media in June 2024. “It was one of Garrison’s favorite movies growing up and even as an adult.” Garrison’s brother Paedon got a constellation tattoo on his forearm in honor of Garrison.
Janelle Brown posted, a picture of her new granddaughter and wrote, “Sweet Emilia Estelle – We waited for you to make your appearance. We are so in love”. Emila Estelle makes the fourth child for Maddie and Caleb. The newborn joins her siblings Axel James, Evangalynn “Evie” Kodi, and Josephine Lee, to make them a family of six.
