Keep reading to get all the details.
Joseph Duggar Not On Address Listed On Property With Kendra
Joseph Duggar is in jail following his March 18 arrest. Kendra was arrested on March 20 on unrelated charges. Since then, fans have been delving into their life a little bit more and discovered that he was not listed on the home address. His last known address was the Duggar compound. Only Kendra’s name is shown on the current rental property. Prior to the arrests, fans speculated that they could have been having problems, although that’s unlikely.
He is a real estate agent, so the fact that they were renting when they had previously lived for free on Duggar land also mind-boggled some fans. They were reportedly paying $1500-1700 in rent monthly when they moved from the Duggar property. Some fans on social media reminded others that Joseph and Kendra had also built a house. However, her family was living in it. It’s unknown what prompted their living situations to change.
The couple was together at Christmas time, so it seems that perhaps Joseph’s name just had not been added to the rental for reasons unknown. Joseph Duggar is currently back home in Arkansas with his wife Kendra Duggar after posting a $600,000 bond in Florida on March 31 to secure his release from the Bay County Jail. He posted the $60,000 needed for his release from custody and prepared for the financial burden of his legal costs with help from his wife Kendra.
Shortly after Kendra’s release from jail on March 20, she and Joseph began discussing ways to bring in cash. On March 25, during a jail phone call obtained by PEOPLE, the two discussed some of the items Kendra could sell. This included most of their trailers, their four-wheeler, a pressure washer, a waterproof tarp and a wood splitter, among other things. Kendra also moved everything out of her family’s home as she and Joseph are preparing to offer it as a rental to bring in money.
During that same call, Kendra and Joseph discussed how rental properties would be advantageous to her by providing a steady stream of income for her and the children. In her last phone call with Joseph before his extradition, she spoke about the toll all of this work had taken on her and her body.
“[I]f you could pray for my health because, I don’t know, I’ve just been really, really fatigued in the last two days,” Kendra told her husband. She said the previous day she “couldn’t move after moving the stuff downstairs” and described her body as “turning off like a weighted blanket.”
Joseph told Kendra that he is surprised she managed to find the strength to carry out these tasks for as long as she did, which his wife then called “a miracle.” “Yeah, because you’ve already had these health issues in the past, I’m surprised it didn’t take you down sooner, you know,” Joseph said on the call. “It’s an absolute miracle,” Kendra repeated.
A few days later, Joseph made his first appearance in front of a Florida judge and later that same day posted the money required for his $600,000 bond. His attorney Albert J. Sauline III tells PEOPLE that Joseph is now back in Arkansas with his wife but not their children. Kendra cannot see her children for a month following her March 20 arrest on child welfare charges, according to a jail letter sent by her sister-in-law Anna Duggar to Joseph.
As a condition of his pretrial release, Joseph cannot be alone with his children unsupervised or any other minors under the age of 18 unsupervised. The couple will next appear in court on April 29 for the child welfare charges they’re facing in Arkansas. Joseph will also be arraigned on the felony charges he faces in Florida in May. He has filed a written plea of not guilty.
