Some fans on Reddit discussed an IG post of a 7 Little Johnstons and Little People, Big World fan page. It features a photo of Alex and Allie. But what caught the attention of many was the page’s caption, congratulating the couple on their pregnancy. In the photo, they are holding an ultrasound picture. Could the rumors actually be true?

It was eventually discovered that the photo was fake, and it was actually taken from Alex’s post back in May, celebrating Allie’s graduation. On the original post, Alex wrote, “Happy Graduation Allie! I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished.” This fake photo shows just how powerful and dangerous AI (artificial intelligence) is today. Meanwhile, some Redditors doubted that they would have a child at this point. The two have been taking things slow and do not appear to be in an intimate relationship at this point in time.

Alex Johnston and his girlfriend, Allie Smith, took a major step in their relationship. In the Dec. 9 episode of the TLC series, Alex’s older brother, Jonah Johnston, asked him what he got Allie for Christmas.

“I got her her favorite perfume set and a promise ring,” Alex revealed. Jonah then shared that he did not give his girlfriend, Ashley Petherick, a promise ring, despite dating her as long as his sister, Liz Johnston, has been dating Brice Bolden. Jonah said that Ashley wants “the real thing.”

In the Dec. 16 episode of 7LJ, Alex chatted with his sister, Emma Johnston, about the promise ring. “I was there when Alex got the promise ring,” she told producers. “I helped him because I know what Allie’s style is now. and I know she wanted something simple and not too, like flashy.” Unfortunately, it seemed that Emma might have slightly tipped off Allie to the fact that her gift was something big, as she asked to be on a video call with them when she opened it.

On 7 Little Johnstons, Allie has been featured now for several seasons as she and Alex navigate a long-distance relationship. She lives on a farm in Ohio, and in Season 16, Alex visited her and got to see her working in the field.
