Now that every planning is in motion, the first look between the bride and groom turned out to be super adorable and emotional.
The sneak peek additionally featured an anxious but happy bride waiting for her first look with Brice. He too couldn’t wait to see her in her wedding dress after waiting for a very long time. When she finally arrived in her all-white glory, he could not look away. Her beauty took his breath away. They shared an intimate hug and looked into each other’s eyes with love.
7 Little Johnstons’ Season Finale Is All About Liz & Brice’s Wedding Glory!
By the first sneak peek of the wedding, the 7 Little Johnstons fandom might have already seen that the bride and groom were totally enamored by each other. The fandom was eagerly awaiting what was to come next. Now that the season finale is finally here, it is all about the big fat wedding day. The venue looked warm with all the fall flowers and fall decorations.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful browns to signify fall elegance, while the groomsmen wore black suits with brown ties to match the theme. TLC, along with the 7 Little Johnstons family, shared some heartwarming pictures from Liz’s wedding day. The first picture was obviously of the bride and groom in an embrace. Brice kissed Liz’s temples while she smiled at the camera.
The next picture was of Trent walking Liz down the aisle. Moreover, the third picture was again of the bride and groom sharing their first kiss. The fourth picture was an adorable family portrait of Liz, Brice, and Leighton. Proud parents, Amber and Trent, posed with their daughter for the fifth photo. The Johnstons’ siblings, except for Anna, looked dapper in the sixth and last one. The post also mentioned the photographer who captured such wholesome moments. When one opens the comments section, there’s a barrage of criticism towards the family, excluding Anna, as always. While one person defended the family, the other angry fans did not let that person go unscathed.
The TLC star, 23, tied the knot with Brice Bolden, 25, in the field of the Johnston family home in Forsyth, Ga., on Saturday, Nov. 8. Approximately 80 of their closest friends and family members were in attendance, including the bride’s parents, Trent and Amber. Johnston tells PEOPLE that the couple envisioned a “small, intimate” celebration surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Guests were encouraged to dress in “semi-formal, fall-time colors” to complement the “romantic fall” theme.
The pair, who have been together since 2019 after they first crossed paths in their neighborhood, where they lived just three houses apart, chose to exchange vows at the Johnston family home, since the location is where their relationship evolved. “[It’s] where we spent most of our dating life,” Johnston says, adding that her ceremony symbolized “Togetherness at the place where it all started.”
The ceremony included lighting a unity candle to represent two lives becoming one, and was officiated by Johnston’s uncle, Jonathan “Jon” Mills. For Johnston, marriage means “officially being able to call ourselves a family of three, and being a team,” she tells PEOPLE.
After the ceremony and cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a “fun” reception featuring a DJ, a buffet-style dinner catered by Ooh La La Catering, and a two-tiered bundt cake flavored white chocolate with raspberry. Also at the reception was a display of family photos entitled “Love Stories Before Ours.” The newlyweds shared their first dance to Teddy Swims’ cover of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One,” and left the wedding with a sparkler send-off by guests.
