Inside Joseph Duggar’s Multimillion-Dollar Real Estate Empire Before His Shocking Arrest

Before Joseph Duggar made headlines for his legal troubles, the former 19 Kids and Counting star was finding success in the real estate world. State records obtained by KFSM show that Duggar, 31, has an active realtor’s license and is associated with the firm Good Neighbor Realty.

Although Duggar is not listed on Good Neighbor Realty’s website under agents, the company claims to specialize in real estate sales, rentals and property management.

“Buying or selling a home can be an emotional experience. At Good Neighbor Realty, we understand that your home is more than a house,” the company stated online. “At Good Neighbor Realty, our job is to build relationships — not just among home buyers and sellers, but for life. We work for you, not for the deal.”

According to records listed on Homes.com, Duggar has sold more than $37 million in properties over the last five years alone. He sold over $8 million in the last year and doubled that number if measured over the past two years.

One of Duggar’s active listings appears to be more than 33 acres of prime development property in Springdale, Arkansas. Currently listed at $15 million, the property is described as being “poised to be a prime development location.”

Duggar has previously spoken out about his real estate career. In a blog post for the family’s website, the father of four shared a glimpse into why he enjoys following the housing market.

“I recently finished my Real Estate Brokers License and have enjoyed getting to work in the Real Estate industry,” he shared. “We also have been building houses to sell. I love getting to work outside with my hands, whether it’s working on a house or doing other hands-on projects. Being active outdoors and playing sports with my brothers and friends are also some favorite pastimes.”

Duggar was recently put under scrutiny when he was arrested on March 18 for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl in 2020.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida confirmed in a press release that Duggar is facing one count of lewd and lascivious behavior involving molestation of a victim less than 12 years old. The second is lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older.

During a court hearing on March 20, Duggar did not enter a plea and waived his right to an extradition hearing, meaning that he agreed to be transferred to Florida to face charges. He has not publicly commented on the case.
