‘Counting On‘: Amy Duggar Throws Shade At Josh
Amy previously took to IG to share a cryptic photo of a jail cell, saying, “IMAGINE BEING SUCH A PROBLEM THAT EVEN PRISON HAS TO ADJUST ITS STANDARDS.” While the Counting On alum didn’t exactly reveal who she was referring to. Many believe that Amy was talking about Josh.
Amy went on with her shots, saying, “You’d think “do nothing and behave” would be the easiest assignment… and yet…” Others agreed and called out Anna for still supporting her husband despite all the horrible things that he did. But while many fans take Amy’s side, others think she’s going too far.

Amy Slammed For Taking Advantage
Some Counting On fans on social media react to Amy’s latest IG post. She made a lengthy message talking about what she would tell her younger self. Her message then talks about making it out of a toxic cycle. She wrote, “So hold on keep being you Because you don’t just make it out, you become the kind of woman who breaks cycles, speaks truth, and builds something holy out of what tried to break you.”
However, some fans think Amy was pushing the controversies too far at this point. According to the poster, they’re puzzled about how Amy kept making posts about forgive and forget, yet she can’t stop latching onto the past.

- “What annoyed the most is when she once said she “grew up on camera.” In reality, she was about 16 in one of the first specials and a legal adult once the series began. For reference, she’s older than Josh. And how insulting is it to say she grew up on camera when some of her cousins (Jackson through to Josie) where literally born on camera and have no concept of a life without being on television.”
- “She is horrible! She said that she wanted to ask Josh why he didnt choose her to rape and molest instead of the other girls. She said she was so proud of herself for not getting touched. Who thinks like that??”
- “The actual victims of Josh’s crimes moved on with their lives while Amy is forever punching the air that she doesn’t have more trauma to sell and that she’s not the main character of this story.”
- “Exactly. I can’t deny she’s been through some trauma with how bad her dad apparently was. But it’s like she acts like the Josh stuff happened TO her and not just in her orbit.”
