Kevin Costner Unrecognisable in New Horizon Poster After Slamming Yellowstone Bosses

Kevin Costner has debuted the poster of his upcoming $100 million movie, Horizon: An American Saga.

Kevin Costner has finally unveiled the long-awaited poster of his upcoming movie, Horizon: An American Saga, just days after slamming the producers of Yellowstone.

In the film, Costner stars as pioneer Hayes Ellison who treks West through dangerous territory in hopes of a new life,

Horizon will be released in two chapters on June 28 and August 16, with the first movie chronicling 15 years before and after the Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West.

In the poster, Costner is at the center displaying his side profile an unfamiliar thick moustache and a hat, alongside a waistcoat and scarf as he stares into the sunset.

The film series which he has been trying to bring to screens for more than 30 years is thought to be the reason behind the delay of Yellowstone’s eagerly awaited fifth season.

The Bodyguard star fumed: “I have taken a beating from those f***ing guys and I know a lot of times where it’s coming from.

“I just elected not to get into that. But if you know me well enough, I made Yellowstone the first priority, and to insinuate anything else would be wrong.”

Costner revealed he has not filmed the final few episodes of season five while defending Sheridan he added: “I did not initiate any of those things. They did.

“They were doing a tap dance and this poor guy was also having to write so much. And I don’t know why they didn’t stick up for me.”

Since Yellowstone’s hiatus in January 2023, Costner has borne the brunt of the blame while undergoing a strenuous divorce from his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.

Despite the drama, Costner told the publication: “I’m very open to coming back, they’ve got so many other things going on. Maybe this circles back and it’s a really cool two-season or end it, if the writing’s there and I’m happy with it.

“I’m open to that. But I took a beating over these guys not speaking up for me and allowing crazy stories to come out,” the John Dutton star concluded.

It was previously claimed that scheduling conflicts with Horizon reportedly sparked his unexpected Yellowstone exit and an alleged feud with creator Taylor Sheridan.

The 69-year-old recently set the record straight about the speculated drama and the hold-up.

Paramount stated Costner refused to shoot more episodes to promote the new film franchise, as he said the network sought contract amendments due to Sheridan’s delayed scriptwriting.

“There was no script,” he told Deadline. “And then things imploded. You’ve been reading one version [of the show’s drama] for a year and a half.”
