Jim Bob Duggar’s New Home Is Lavish
In Touch confirmed on April 23, 2025, that the 19 Kids and Counting alum purchased the 6,318-square-foot home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, via Shiloh Warehouse Space LLC, where he is listed as an officer.
The house was built in 2008 and features six bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and offers luxurious touches such as walk-in closets and a whirlpool bathtub.
Anna and her jailed husband, Josh Duggar, share seven children, so most of them could have their own bedroom in the new home their grandfather purchased if they end up living there. The home sits on a sprawling 10-acre lot, which could provide plenty of room for the kids to roam, as well as a barn with horse stalls.
Josh is currently serving a 151-month federal prison sentence that began in June 2022, after he was sentenced in May 2022 on one count of receiving chi|d p*rnography. He had been convicted of both possessing and receiving chi|d p*rnography in December 2021, but the first charge was dismissed during sentencing.
Anna Duggar Is Reportedly Going to Move Into Jim Bob Duggar’s New Home
The fan account Duggar Family News was first to report on the home purchase on April 22, 2025, claiming that Anna and the seven kids she shares with Josh are seemingly set to move in.
“Anna and her kids have a new home! No more dorm living at her in-laws’ compound. This house was bought just last week and is minutes from Jim Bob and Michelle,” the site reported, referring to Josh’s mom, Michelle Duggar.
Where Does Anna Duggar Currently Live?
As of April 2025, Anna and her seven kids – Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella and Madyson – are believed to still be living on Jim Bob and Michelle’s family compound in Tontitown, Arkansas.
They reside in a “windowless warehouse” on the property, The U.S. Sun reported in December 2024. The publication noted that Anna and Josh began living there with their kids prior to his arrest on chi|d p*rnography charges in April 2021.
Anna’s children are home-schooled, although her sons socialize with kids outside the family via sports and other activities, the outlet reported. A source shared, “Anna has been seen bringing her sons to basketball games weekly and watching them play from the stands.”
Where Did Jim Bob Duggar Get the Money to Purchase a $1 Million Home?
In Touch previously reported that Jim Bob scored a $4.7 million payday after Walmart purchased more than 16 acres of land in Tontitown, Arkansas, from a subsidiary led by the former TLC star and wife Michelle. They had previously acquired the land for $600,000.
When Is Josh Duggar Scheduled to be Released From Prison?
Since Josh is not eligible for parole, he’s due to serve his full sentence with a release date in October 2032. He’s been housed at FCI Seagoville outside Dallas, Texas, since his sentence began in 2022. He will be required to register as a s-x offender upon his release and complete 20 years of supervised release once he’s out of prison.
