Michaela recently took to YouTube to share some exciting news about her journey to having a child. The Bringing Up Bates star has struggled to have a child with Brandon due to her blood-related issues. Due to this, they opted for adoption, which failed in their first attempt. However, Michaela was so happy when she learned that they were approved to become foster parents to two boys, a 3-year-old and a newborn. She even admitted that she was so nervous about being approved, adding that she would lose it if they got rejected again.

Michaela Bates Keilen took to IG to share a photo of one of her foster kids. The picture shows the arm of the baby boy. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, fostering is a very complicated role to take. However, she feels privileged to provide a home for the boys, giving them safety and a bright future.
Michaela added, “We know they’re away from everything familiar, and we feel deeply honored to be part of their healing and to show them they are treasured, and to love them with all we have.” Michaela also asked for prayers for healing, peace, and comfort for her kids. Michaela added that she will love him forever, and he will always be remembered for his example of being a man of integrity, kindness, wisdom, and humility. Michaela added, “You always had a listening ear and the best advice. I’m so blessed and so grateful that I got to have you for a grandpa.”
