Taya Hartless grabbed a lot of attention for her TLC debut. She featured her journey with Sean, Tyler, and Alysia on the pilot season of the show. She confirmed that she and her family won’t return to TV for another season.
The Polyfamily star wrote, “This just in: we’re NEVER doing reality TV again.” Hartless thanked her fans for all the support they showed for her family’s unique journey. She teased, “And don’t worry, we’ll keep sharing our story … but this time, we’re taking the mic.” Sean and Taya have been married for six years, while their partners, Tyler and Alysia, were together for 11 years.
Later, Starcasm reported that Sean fathered three additional children during his previous two marriages. Shockingly, the network didn’t shed light on his past on the show. Both of the TLC star’s ex-wives also filed motions for temporary custody modifications in 2016, after the investigations into him for having inappropriate sexual interactions with a minor child online.
Sean never faced any criminal charges related to the accusations. As per The Sarah Fraser show, the network wanted another season with the family. But the reality TV stars chose to step away from the limelight after the massive backlash over Sean’s past.
