‘Sister Wives’ Season 21 Is Filming in a Surprising Location — Fans Are Stunned
TLC’s Sister Wives is back to filming Season 21. The Browns are reportedly filming in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The show, which debuted in 2010, followed the family’s relocation from Utah to Las Vegas and then to Flagstaff, Arizona. While Meri, Janelle, and Christine pursue new chapters on their own, Kody and Robyn Brown adjust to life in their new mansion as the only Brown couple in the most recent season, which continues to explore the fallout from the family’s breakup. Kody does a lot of business in Las Vegas, so it makes sense to film segments there. Janelle is in North Carolina; Meri is still in Utah, along with Christine. Sources say all ex-sister wives are filming as well. Could this be the final season for the whole Brown family?
Christine Brown Says Show Was a Realistic Representation
While the Brown family is preparing for Sister Wives to return to television, it wasn’t something they all expected. In Christine Brown Woolley’s debut memoir, “Sister Wife,” Christine writes that Sister Wives was a realistic representation of her family. However, her children with ex-husband Kody Brown “are ready to be done with the show, for the most part.” Christine also admitted she was “surprised when we learned there would be another season,” especially since season 19 ended on a sad note after the passing of Garrison Brown, the son of Kody and former wife Janelle Brown. Season 20 was mostly about Kody and Robyn’s kids.

Christine Brown said, “I just wasn’t sure if we still had a story to tell,” she admits. “But then, as I realized, we still have things that are happening in our lives that are interesting and that are good. And how do you navigate not only a breakup but a divorce, a plural divorce with so many people? And how do you navigate relationships with sister wives?” She feels like “there’s still a story to be told,” Christine says that she’s “willing to be part of a story.”
Kody Brown showed up on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 4, which was filmed in Morocco. Fans saw another side of him. He competed as a recruit and made it to the later stages of the show before being eliminated near the end of the season.
Sister Wives Fans Shocked At Renewal
Sister Wives fans weighed in on the shocking information that the Browns were filming in Las Vegas for Season 21.
- Why they are no longer sister wives. Why are they filming? They’re all separate. Do separate shows or something with the one that has the best ratings but especially Cody why are you still filming that dodo?
- Shouldn’t they rebrand it to Sister Lives at this point?
- None of them LIVE in Vegas anymore 😂 maybe start following the kids at this point..
- I definitely will not be watching it.
- @tlc not sure why you felt like extending this show was a good idea according to these and so many thousands of comments I’ve seen
- Hmmmmm Las Vegas? Who lives in Vegas? Did Dayton move there? Will Robyn follow?
- I think this show had run it’s course. They aren’t even “Sister wives” anymore. They have all moved on, time for the show to move on too.
- I can’t believe this show is still going lol
- Honestly we are so over Kody and Robyn. Literally no one cares about them. Go invest your time and money into a new show. One people might watch.
- What show there are no sister wives anymore!
Sister Wives is broadcast on TLC and can be streamed on TLC platforms and affiliated streaming services. Production on Season 21 is underway, with a fall release date anticipated. Are you looking forward to the new season of Sister Wives?
